This Privacy Policy describes how ilhadev ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses, and shares information when you use my mobile applications and websites (collectively, the "Services"). My applications are designed with your privacy in mind. I do not require you to create an account, and I do not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

  • Information about which ads were shown and how you interacted with them

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Services — ensuring the application functions correctly on your device.
  • To improve the Services — understanding how users interact with the app to fix bugs, optimize performance, and develop new features.
  • To display advertisements — serving ads through Google AdMob to support the free availability of my applications.
  • To analyze app performance — monitoring crashes, errors, and overall app stability.
  • To comply with legal obligations — responding to legal requests and preventing fraud or abuse.

3. Google AdMob — Advertising

My applications use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a mobile advertising platform provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and process certain data to serve ads, including personalized ads based on your interests.

Types of ads displayed:

  • Banner ads
  • Interstitial ads (full-screen ads shown at natural transition points)
  • Rewarded ads (optional ads that provide in-app benefits)

Data collected by AdMob may include:

  • Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • Device and app information (OS version, app version, device model)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
  • General (coarse) location information based on IP address
  • Cookies or similar technologies for frequency capping and ad measurement

Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads:

4. Third-Party Services

In addition to Google AdMob, my applications may use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Analytics — to collect anonymous usage statistics and understand how users interact with the app. Firebase Analytics automatically logs certain events and user properties.
  • Firebase Crashlytics — to collect crash reports and diagnostic data to help identify and fix issues in the app.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. I encourage you to review their respective policies to understand how your data is handled.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

My mobile applications do not directly use cookies. However, third-party services integrated into the app (such as Google AdMob) may use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, or similar technologies to collect information and serve ads. These technologies help with:

  • Measuring ad performance and effectiveness
  • Frequency capping (limiting how often you see the same ad)
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Providing aggregated ad reporting

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With advertising partners: Anonymous, aggregated data may be shared with Google AdMob for the purpose of serving and measuring advertisements.
  • For legal compliance: I may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a court order or subpoena).
  • To protect rights: I may disclose information to protect my rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of others.
  • With analytics providers: Anonymized usage data may be shared with Firebase Analytics for app improvement purposes.

7. Data Retention

I retain collected data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • Analytics data: Aggregated analytics data in Firebase is retained for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
  • Crash reports: Crash data in Firebase Crashlytics is retained for 90 days.
  • Advertising data: Advertising data processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google's data retention policies.

I do not store any personal data on my own servers.

8. Data Security

I take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through my Services. All data transmitted between the app and third-party services (AdMob, Firebase) is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

My Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If I become aware that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I will take steps to delete such information promptly.

In applications that may be used by children, I ensure that ads served comply with Google's Families Policy requirements, which include serving only age-appropriate advertisements.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data:

10.1 For All Users:

  • Opt out of personalized ads: Adjust your device advertising settings or visit Google Ad Settings.
  • Reset Advertising ID: Reset your device's advertising identifier at any time through your device settings.
  • Delete Advertising ID (Android 12+): On Android 12 and above, you can delete your advertising ID entirely.
  • Uninstall the app: You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the application from your device.

10.2 For EEA/UK Residents (GDPR):

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data collected about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing — request limitation of data processing.
  • Right to data portability — request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Right to object — object to data processing for certain purposes, including profiling for advertising.
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

A consent dialog is presented within the app (via Google's User Messaging Platform) to allow you to manage your ad preferences in compliance with GDPR.

10.3 For California Residents (CCPA):

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • The right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold.
  • The right to delete personal information held by businesses.
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Note: I do not sell personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

10.4 For Brazilian Residents (LGPD):

If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including the right to access, correct, anonymize, or delete your personal data.

11. International Data Transfers

Information collected through the Services may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where Google's servers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. Google implements appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international data transfers in compliance with applicable law.

12. Consent

By using my applications, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by law (such as in the EEA/UK), explicit consent will be obtained before processing your data for advertising purposes through an in-app consent dialog powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

My Services may contain links to other websites or services that are not operated by me. Clicking on a third-party link will direct you to that third party's site. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. I strongly encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When I make material changes, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. I encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Services after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
